Give Me Umueri Or I Die

GIVE ME UMUERI OR I DIE We are in the second to the last phase of the struggle. It's the phase of the media war. They are paying people to tell lies against us using the social media and conventional media. We are not paid to fight them back but we exhaust our resources to counter and dispel their lies. Our voices are louder and our resolve stronger. Their weapon is telling lies, while ours is telling the truth. They are trying to confuse the people, while we are succeeding in convincing the masses. They post fallacious and fictitious stories, we comes up with fact and evidence. They rely on mere words of corrupt politicians, we deliver with certified documents. They use state tools and funds, we are warriors determine to achieve success. Their online soldiers are just a few hundreds maybe a few thousands. Every Umuerian is an online warriors. They are mercenaries and we are volunteers. They are fighting for money, we are fighting for our lives, our future, our freed

UMUERI THE CRADLE OF IGBO RACE

Oral History Of Umueri, the Cradle of Igbo Race* Much have been said, twisted and re-chronicled as it concerns the first Igbo Settlers that infiltrated into the Omambala Valley, in early  940.AD . But there are still a verified account of the Migration though not popular but have all along be part and parcel of *Umueri(pronouinced Umuleri) Oral tradition. In this account, unlike the earlier one peddled by her Neighboring Village of Aguleri and Nri and others with Igala cultural influence, there are anthropological cum cultural practices that suggest that the wave of migration was actually led by founders of modern day Umueri- descendants of Eri. According to Umuleri Oral tradition, the town was nucleus of migrating but nomadic Clan which traced its origin to wave of migration led by a priest of Eri clan of Isreal known as Dabawor. Various accounts now linked or equating him as the Biblical Eri, who was mentioned as Son of Gad, the son of Jacob(Gen 29 vs 30.). the Althoug

SHOW ME YOUR FRIENDS AND I WILL TELL YOU WHO YOU ARE

SHOW ME YOUR FRIENDS One of the indisputable laws of RELATIONSHIP is that you become like those you associate with, friends or family, whether you intend to or not. Many years ago a man named Max Jukes lived in New York. He did not believe in Christ or Christian training. He fathered 13 children. He refuse to take his children to church, even when they asked to go. He has 1,026 descendants. Of these 300 were sent to prison for an average term of thirteen years; 190 were public prostitutes; 509 were admitted alcoholics and drug addicts. His family, thus far, cost the state in excess of $420,000 Surely the agnostic influence of Max Jukes filtered down through his many descendants who made no contribution to society. Coincidentally, Jonathan Edwards another man lived in the same state at the same time as Jukes. Strangely, he too fathered 13 children, but he loved the Lord and saw that his children were not only in church every service but ensured their devotion to the thing

YOU CANNOT BE A BETTER PERSON

The British came for 60 years and Sir Ajayi talked about few numbers of graduates in the North (two as at independence) . What he did not say was that there was a documented policy of the British when they came that the Northerner should not be educated. It was documented. It was British colonial policy. I have the document. I have published articles on it. That if you educate the Northerner you will produce progressive Muslim intellectuals of the type we have in Egypt and India. So, do not educate them. It was documented. And you say they love us (North) more than the south. “I have spent the better part of my life to fight and Dr. (Reuben) Abati knows it. Yes, my grandfather was an Emir. Why was I in the pro-democracy movement fighting for June 12? Is (Moshood) Abiola from Kano ? Why am I a founding director of the Kudirat Initiative for Nigerian Development (KIND)? “There are good Yoruba people, good Igbo people, good Fulani people, good Nigerians and there are bad people everywhere

DINING AT THE TABLE OF THE DEVIL

DINING AT THE TABLE OF THE DEVIL This message is a timely warning from the Lord to His children. This indeed are perilous times. 1Corinthians 10:21 says  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and cup of the devil's; ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of the devils," There are two tables and two cups in question. One table and one cup belong to the Lord while the other table and the other cup belongs to the devil. In 1997, a woman came for deliverance and she told me that she was a prostitute. In the course of time she is tired of the job and wanted to settled down and marry. So she went to a witch doctor who asked her to bring a piece of fresh meat. She obliged and the man rained incantations on the meat and asked her to put it inside her pant for a whole day after which she should sleep with it and use the meat to prepare soup and also ensure that the man she wanted to marry ate that meat. That was how Mr. Charles got into trouble.

IGU ARO FESTIVAL IN UMUERI

Igu aro Festival THE ARO FESTIVAL IN UMUERI The Aro festival also called the "Igu aro" is one of the most colorful and celebrated festival in Umueri . The Festival has a prime position in the life of the people due to economical importance attached to it . Because the Oracular and Prophetic utterance of the Priest depicts what would happened in a given year. This include the oracular utterances of the priest in regards on what to expect during the harvest season: Whether there will be "Ugani" (famine), Nsogbu (problem), Ogu (war), onwu (death) etc. it was a sort of annual prophecy or prediction on what would happen in the coming season. If the prophecy turns out to have positive effect, the people tend to work tiredlessly hard so as to reap the fruit of hard labour. But on contrary, they tend to be cautious during the planting season starting with the first moon of the new season. The festival also called Iri-ede or oriri ede (feast of coco-yam) takes pla
