The chairman of the South-East Governors’ forum, Chief David Umahi has said the governors of the zone proscribed the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to save the lives of over 12 million of Igbos living in the northern Nigeria. Umahi, who is the governor of Ebonyi State, made this known while addressing stakeholders of the state during the 2017 Ebonyi peace day celebration that took place at Ishielu local government area headquarters of the state. He noted that the governors of the South-East had no apologies for saving the lives of the igbos. Breaking News Police and DSS were sent to disrupt the new yam festival of Igwe Cosmos Morah the autonomous igwe of Nneyi Ezi Umueri. Early hour of this morning the security men besieged his compound and pulled down the canopies outside of his home as they did not gained entrance to the main building. As of the time of filling this report the security men were patrolling inside the community to make sure that the event did not hold. Gov. Obiano Orders the arrest of Umueri Youths. Gov. Willie Obiano  in conjunction with his Aguleri Commununity have ordered the police to arrest Umueri youths over the disputed land issue between Umueri and Aguleri. It will be recalled that there was a little fracas between the two communities over land issues of which governor Obiano's brother Everest Obiano have already  erected a shop in a part of the land and mobilise their boys to shoot at Umueri youths who came to enquire why they Aguleri people are grabbing Umueri land.
