NIGERIA MILITARY FORCES SCHOOLS TO CLOSE IN ANAMBRA STATE AS PUPILS SCAMPER HOME FOR SAFETY

The sudden appearance of the Medical Corps of 82 Division of Nigeria Army at St Michael's Catholic Church, Ozubulu Anambra State for what they termed Free Medical Mission has forced Schools to close and children ran home for safety. Anambra State government through the Commissioner for Health said the medical Corp was in the State without the knowledge and consent of Anambra State Government. It is not clear whether the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi whose premises the Military are using gave their consent. As at 10:00am today, Principals and Head Teachers of Schools including missionary Schools in Ozubulu as well as in Nnewi, Oraifite,  Okija, Ihiala and Onitsha have dismissed their students to go home as it was rumoured that the Military were about moving from school to school to forcibly immunize pupils and infect them with monkey pox epidemic.

The truth is that the Military exercise tagged Operation Python Dance II that left many innocent persons dead has created great disaffection between Nigeria military and people of South East. That disaffection has put APC the Government at the center at a great disadvantage in the forth coming Anambra State Governorship election. The military in their efforts to gain the confidence of Anambra people back have been doing everything to be seen as friendly by Anambra people. For about a week now they have engaged in joint Patrol with men of FRSC, NSCDC (Civil Defense ) showing the people that they are not in Anambra to harass, intimidate and extort them of their money as usual. They seemed to be making progress until they brought their medical corps into this. Though gun totting soldiers were seen around.Situation report.

Unknown Youths From Nsugbe Attacks Umueri Project

INVASION BY NSUGBE YOUTHS SECOND TIME

 Within space of six months Nneyi Community in Umueri Anambra East LGA of Anambra state has been attack by it neighbor Nsugbe for undisclosed reasons. On 27th May 2023 during the mounting of a Gantry billboard by Umueri Progressive Forum, the engineer and his boys were attacked, their vehicles damaged some of the local guide that was stationed there were beaten to stupor and he recognized them to be from Nsugb e.  The President General of Nsugbe Town Union and his vigilante Chief denied knowledge of the dastardly act and said that the perpetrators  were not from Nsugbe, Nneyi people allowed this to be in the interest of peace.  The wanton destruction of lives and properties of Ndi Umueri by Nsugbe Youths this morning as many structure were destroyed many were maimed leaving them between life and death.
